EXTREVA ASE automates the key stages of sample preparation—from extraction and in-cell cleanup to evaporation and production of a concentrated extract ready for subsequent instrumental analysis.
The system uses gas-assisted accelerated solvent extraction, combining elevated temperature, pressure, and controlled solvent delivery for fast and efficient extraction. Up to four samples can be processed in parallel, with automated batches of up to 16 samples. Up to six different extraction solvents or solvent mixtures can be used, providing flexibility for different sample matrices and analytical methods.
The integrated evaporation capability allows extracts to be concentrated directly into chromatography vials or evaporated to dryness. Automated endpoint detection further reduces the need for manual intervention.
By automating consecutive sample preparation steps, EXTREVA ASE reduces hands-on time, solvent consumption, and the potential for errors and contamination. The system is suitable for sample preparation in the analysis of PFAS, persistent organic pollutants (POPs), pesticides, and other organic compounds in environmental, food, and other complex sample matrices.
