Transcend LX Multichannel UHPLC Systems

Thermo Scientific™ Transcend™ LX Multichannel UHPLC Systems employ multichannel LC technology to increase productivity in laboratories handling high volumes of LC-MS analyses.

The systems combine two or four independent UHPLC channels with a single mass spectrometer. While one channel is performing MS analysis, the remaining channels can carry out other stages of the chromatographic cycle, such as column preparation and reconditioning. This approach reduces mass spectrometer idle time and increases the overall throughput of the LC-MS platform.

Each LC channel can operate independently, allowing the same or different methods to be performed in parallel. This provides additional flexibility for laboratories managing high analytical workloads and multiple methods.

Depending on the configuration, Transcend LX systems are available with two or four LC channels incorporating high-precision UHPLC pumps from the Thermo Scientific™ Vanquish™ platform.

Intelligent scheduling and control of the individual LC channels optimize mass spectrometer utilization and can increase sample throughput by up to four times with a four-channel configuration.
